These Terms of Service govern your use of LaserBend’s website, instant quoting platform, and metal fabrication services. By placing an order, uploading a design file, or using our site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

LaserBend provides precision laser cutting, sheet metal bending, tube cutting, welding, powder coating, and related fabrication services. All services are performed at our facility in Sun Valley, California, and shipped to your specified location.

We reserve the right to refuse any order that violates these terms, exceeds our manufacturing capabilities, or involves designs that pose safety or legal concerns.

3. Quotes & Pricing

Instant quotes generated on our platform are valid for 30 days.
Custom quotes provided via email or phone are valid for the timeframe stated in the quote.
Pricing is based on material, thickness, complexity, quantity, and turnaround time.
We may adjust pricing if your design file differs from the specifications used to generate the quote.

4. Design Files & Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of your design files and intellectual property.
By uploading a file, you grant LaserBend a limited license to use it solely for manufacturing your order.
We do not share, sell, or reuse your designs for third-party projects.
You warrant that your designs do not infringe on any third-party patents, trademarks, or copyrights.

We accept files in: STEP, STP, SolidWorks, IGES, IGS, DXF, and DWG formats.

5. Order Placement & Payment

Orders are confirmed upon payment receipt.
We accept major credit cards including MasterCard and American Express.
Large or custom orders may require a deposit before production begins.
All prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude applicable taxes and shipping unless stated otherwise.

6. Manufacturing Tolerances

LaserBend manufactures to industry-standard tolerances:

Standard tolerance: ±0.005 inches
High-precision tolerance: ±0.002 inches (where specified)

Tolerances may vary based on material type, thickness, and part geometry. We will advise if your design requires tolerance review before production.

7. Cancellations & Modifications

Before production begins: Full cancellation with refund available.
After production starts: Cancellations may incur material and labor charges.
Design modifications after order confirmation may require re-quoting and adjusted lead times.

8. Shipping & Delivery

Risk of loss transfers to you upon carrier pickup from our facility.
Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.
We are not liable for carrier delays, weather disruptions, or customs processing (where applicable).
Shipping damage claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

9. Returns & Rework

Quality defects caused by our manufacturing process will be corrected or remade at no charge.
Design errors originating from your file are your responsibility. We can rework at quoted rates.
Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery and authorized by LaserBend.

We stand behind our 98.9% on-time delivery rate and precision craftsmanship. If we make an error, we fix it.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

LaserBend’s liability is limited to the value of the order in question.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits, project delays, or third-party claims.
We do not warrant that our services will meet your specific end-use requirements unless explicitly agreed in writing.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LaserBend, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, your design files, or your violation of these terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as our services evolve. Changes take effect upon posting to this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
